Funding Home Accessibility Modifications in Central Indiana
Many families are surprised to learn that some or all of a home modification project may be covered by an assistance program. Others pay privately and simply want great work done well. Both paths are welcome here — and if you're not sure which one you're on, that's exactly what this page is for.
What you should know
- Many central Indiana homeowners may qualify for financial assistance toward accessibility modifications — including seniors, veterans, and people living with a disability.
- We can help you determine which funding options may be available to you, and which ones probably aren't worth your time.
- When another organization or agency is the right next step, we'll help connect you with trusted partners and resources.
- We serve both private-pay clients and homeowners pursuing funding assistance. No program is required to work with us.
A note on honesty: we're a home accessibility contractor, not a government agency or benefits administrator. We can't approve or guarantee funding, and program rules and award amounts change. What we can do is help you understand the landscape, prepare the documentation contractors are usually asked for, and point you to the people who make the decisions.
How our funding assistance works
We help you understand your options
On a no-pressure call, we'll ask a few questions about the homeowner's age, service history, insurance, and needs, then walk you through which funding programs may realistically apply.
We help gather what's needed
Funding programs typically require assessments, documentation, and detailed scopes of work. We prepare clear, itemized scopes of work and coordinate with case managers, occupational therapists, and VA staff.
We connect you with trusted partners
When another agency or organization is the right next step — an Area Agency on Aging, a VA caseworker, or a nonprofit repair program — we'll make the introduction rather than leaving you to figure it out alone.
We do the work either way
Whether your project is funded, partially funded, or fully private-pay, you get the same Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) expertise and quality craftsmanship from a local, family-run team.
